Well, cellular growth begins at the Apical Meristem, not the matured flower- some have called it the ZONE OF DIFFERENTIATION. Ummm….that’s appropriate…cells being assigned to different functions…identity of each being formed. If I’ve led you to believe these are planty pictures, I do apologize.
